Samsung revealed the Galaxy Note 7 not long ago, and information on the smartphone continues to surface online, with the latest regarding the 6GB of RAM variant set to debut in China. It seems that pricing for the handset has been announced ahead of the pre-orders' kickoff.

We reported a few days ago that Samsung intended to release another variant of the Galaxy Note 7 in China, one that would have significantly more RAM and storage capacity. The model to be launched in China will have the same specs and design as the base variant but come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The base model has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The Chinese version will also come with dual-SIM, which will allow users to insert and use two SIM cards on the same phone. You would imagine that the price tag of the more potent smartphone might be significantly higher, but according to My Drivers, that's not the case.

The 6GB of RAM variant will debut on September 2 in China

The 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage model will cost the equivalent of $853, about the same price as in the US. On the other hand, the 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage version will feature a price tag of $912, which means that you pay less than $100 for a significant boost in RAM and internal storage capacity.

The price seems a little too good to be true, so this information should be taken with a grain of salt. The source has also stated that pre-orders for the Note 7 are set to start on August 26, and the release date has been set on September 2.

Nevertheless, the company seems adamant to release this enhanced version of the Note 7 as the smartphone has already passed through TENAA and showed up on Geekbench. Until then, we can only wait for the company to release the smartphone in Europe for a rumored price of €849 and £699 in the UK.
