Frostpunk developer 11 Bit Studios has just released the Season Pass for its critically-acclaimed post-apocalyptic builder. The Season Pass contains three expansions and costs $25, but if you buy it right now, you'll receive The Rifts, the first paid DLC for Frostpunk for free.

The Rifts introduces a new map for the Endless Mode, where players can use new gameplay mechanics to bridge the rifts to access new areas and expand their cities in ways that weren't possible before. If you don't want to buy the Season Pass, but still want to try out The Rifts, you can get it for just $5.

The other two expansions will be launched in the coming months and will be available separately for those who don't buy the Season Pass. The first to come in Q4 2019 is called The Last Autumn, which adds a new scenario along with an all-new game-changing mechanics and unique architecture.

The third and final expansion for Frostpunk is called Project TVADGYCGJR and is scheduled for release in the early months of 2020. The title of the DLC seems to be some kind of code, which we haven't been able to crack for the moment.

However, we're promised more information on the third expansion at the launch of The Last Autumn expansion happening later this year, so we'll be keeping our eyes on this one.

Assuming you don't plan to buy any of the additional content revealed today by developer 11 Bit Studios, there's still something interesting for you. All Frostpunk players will receive a free update today, which includes three new Endless Mode maps: Frozen Grove, Snowdrifts and Hanging Rock.

The Endless Mode maps are based on The Arks, Refugees, and Fall of Winterhome scenario maps, so if you've finished the game, you might already be familiar with these.
