Wargroove, the amazing strategy game where you lead your armies and battle other factions in turn-based warfare, is getting a major content update. What's even better, aside from all the new gameplay features it adds, is that Wargroove: Double Trouble is free for all owners of the base game, so there's absolutely no reason not to try it out.

The new Wargroove: Double Trouble DLC is available right now on PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One, while PlayStation 4 players will be able to play it at a later date that will be announced soon.

It's also worth mentioning that Double Trouble releases along with a new patch that brings some balance adjustments to many units and Commanders. All the tweaks included in the patch have been detailed by developer Chucklefish, so don't forget to check out the full changelog for a complete picture of what's been changed.

As far as the new DLC goes, the most important addition to the game is the brand new co-op story campaign, which can be played couch co-op, online co-op, or solo. Also, Double Trouble brings three new roguish Commanders, two new units (Thieves and Riflemen), new arcade missions, a new Volcano map theme, and more updates to the custom Editor tools, which should give players more control over their custom maps, campaigns, and cutscenes.

In Wargroove: Double Trouble, you'll be allowed to team up and lead the Outlaw faction to strategic victory, with new criminal Commanders: the mighty Wulfar, troublemaker twins Errol and Orla, as well as the maleficent Vesper.

But that's not all. Chucklefish announced the Double Trouble makes it possible for Wargroove owners to play competitive online Quick Play. One other important new feature included in the DLC is public and private multiplayer lobbies, a highly requested feature that's finally making its way to Wargroove.
