And this time, the device actually has a proper display

In addition to the Sense 2 and Versa 4, Fitbit’s fall lineup also includes a new Inspire tracker whose purpose is to make tracking as easy and affordable as it could be.

However, the Inspire 3 still comes with at least one major upgrade as compared to its predecessor: a color display.

That’s right, the Inspire 3 sports an OLED panel that includes AOD support and everything, therefore aligning with Fitbit’s more advanced devices. In terms of features, however, little is being changed, as the new model only includes a SpO2 sensor to keep an eye on blood oxygen levels.

Otherwise, it’s the device you already know, with Fitbit still claiming 10 days of battery life despite the display upgrade.

“Inspire 3 is the next generation of our entry-level health and fitness tracker, helping you work on your best self without breaking the bank. It’s an easy way to track key metrics 24/7 like activity, heart rate, sleep, stress and more. Plus, it comes in a thin, lightweight design with a vibrant color touchscreen and long battery life that can last up to 10 days (based on usage),” Fitbit says.

However, given it comes with AOD support, the battery life declines substantially if you enable this feature, with some estimates cutting the battery per charge to no less than 3 days.

“Adding even more color to your day, the bright display lets you quickly see your stats, pick a colorful clock face to fit your style and use the new always-on display function (3+ days with default settings). Whether you’re going for a run or headed to class, you can also stay connected to what matters to you with customizable on-wrist notifications from your phone,” the company explains.

The new Inspire tracker is already available for pre-order in the United States for $99.95, with shipping projected to kick off next month.
