14 DAY TRIAL // Although there are many rumors about Samsung's upcoming flagship smartphone, we did not have any graphical representations of the Galaxy S7.
Maybe because it's a bit early for that and Samsung hasn't yet finished the Galaxy S7's design, or perhaps leaksters did not have access to any of the prototypes the company is testing now.
The good news is accessories retailers usually know quite a lot about a phone's size long before it goes on sale. It enables them to provide customers with the right case for their smartphone before or on the day the device is being launched.
The same goes for Samsung Galaxy S7, which is expected to go official next year in March. The folks over at GSMArena have spotted a case for Samsung's flagship smartphone, which might give us an idea of what the device might look like.
The same form factor and design as Galaxy S6
First of all, the case measures 143.37 x 70.8 x 6.94mm, which is almost the same as the Galaxy S6, but not quite as there are slight differences.
The second case is for the alleged Galaxy S7 Plus and measures 163.32 x 82.01 x 7.82mm. The large case might suggest that Samsung plans to launch a phablet along with the Galaxy S7.
Samsung Galaxy S7 Plus might pack a huge 5.7- or 6-inch display, which doesn't make sense since the South Korean company already has the Galaxy Note lineup for those who prefer phablets.
The overall design of the Galaxy S7 is not very different from the Galaxy S6', which indicates that Samsung is keeping the same form factor and build quality.
As for the controls that the Galaxy S7 will feature on the outside, it looks like we have the same physical Home button at the bottom and a front-facing camera. The rear-facing camera slightly protrudes from the back side while the dual volume keys are positioned on the left side.
The right side features the SIM card slot and the power on/off button. The 3.5mm audio jack is placed on the bottom side, along with the loudspeaker and USB port.
