Team Pangu, the group of hackers that made jailbreaks on iOS possible, are back again with their latest masterpiece. The first iOS 9 jailbreak is now available for download and it's been confirmed to work across devices powered by iOS 9.0 – 9.0.2.

Also, according to many of those who tried it out, the new jailbreak is stable enough and works on Apple's new iPhone 6S as well.

Pangu's iOS 9 jailbreak is about 73MB in size and before using it, we recommend users to make a full backup before flashing it.

Also, if you aren't a tech-savvy and haven't jailbroken a device until now, then you might want to know that there are a few steps you need to take in order to prepare your iOS device.

First, as mentioned earlier, make sure you backup all the information from your device before using Pangu's jailbreak. Even though the build has been thoroughly tested by Team Pangu, you can never be sure. You can use iTunes to backup all your data before jailbreak.

Enable airplane mode and remove passcode

Also, in order to increase the rate of success with the iOS 9 jailbreak, you should enable airplane mode on your device, as well as disable passcode and “find my iPhone” feature in the system settings.

It's also worth mentioning that the firmware upgraded via OTA (over the air) affects this iOS 9 jailbreak by Pangu a lot and may cause it to fail a lot of times. If this happens to you as well, then you will need to try and download the latest firmware and restore your iOS devices.

The folks at Pangu also state that they now offer a functionality to make it easier to restore iOS devices and automatically complete the activation and jailbreak with a simple one-click method.

There are also a few suggestions offered by Pangu in case the jailbreak fails several times in a row, such as switching to the airplane mode, rebooting both iOS devices and computer, as well as using the restore functionality in Pangu to restore your device.

If you really want to use Pangu's new jailbreak, you can now download it directly from the official website. Make sure you read the guide as well before attempting to jailbreak your iOS 9 device.
