14 DAY TRIAL // Mozilla released a new version of its Firefox web browser for Apple's iOS mobile operating system for iPhone and iPad devices, adding various new features and improvements.
Firefox 16.0 for iOS is now available to boost your privacy by making it easier and faster to delete your browsing history with a single tap on the History page. iPhone and iPad users will now be able to clear web history data from the last hour, the current day and/or the day before.
"Because we all make wrong turns on the web from time to time, you can now choose to delete your history from only the last hour, that specific day, the day and the one before or, as it has always been, your full browsing history," said Mozilla in a blog article.
Keep your website passwords more secure
Mozilla also simplified the Logins & Passwords section of the Firefox for iOS web browser to make it easier for users to access their website logins and passwords, while also improving the security of your passwords by enabling passcode authentication or Face ID in Settings.
On top of that, the latest Firefox for iOS release makes it easier to access your bookmarks, downloads, history, and reading list directly from the Firefox Home screen by implementing shortcuts. Users will also be able to preview their selections in a unified view via the Settings menu.
The Search bar has been updated as well to make searching easier than ever, and numerous issues were resolved to enrich your web browsing experience when using Firefox for iOS. This release also brings better support for the latest iOS 12.2 operating system and several other smaller enhancements.
