Physics-based 3D action-battle game Fight Crab is coming to Nintendo Switch on September 15. The game will be available on the same data across North America, Europe, and Australia, publisher Mastiff and developer Calappa Games confirmed earlier today.

For those who haven't heard about Fight Crab, this is an over-the-top action game that combines giant crustaceans, wild weaponry, and intense claw-to-claw combat into one absurdly hilarious, must-play game.

Participating in crab fights is the most awkward thing that a multiplayer game can involve, and yet Fight Crab does look to be a lot of fun. Using uncanny abilities, these shelled warriors armed themselves with weapons and now battle for control of the lands, living by one simple rule: “those who are flipped onto their shells must admit defeat.”

Players who buy the game will most likely embark on a world tour of devastation, flipping over as many crabs as possible in a quest to be crowned Lord of the crustaceans. As you progress through the game, you'll be able to unlock new playable crabs, learn powerful skills, and amass an arsenal of deadly weapons like the whip sword, nunchaku, ax gun, chainsaw, and beam saber.

More importantly, you crabs avatars can be visually customized and leveled up to create the perfect build, suitable for any playstyle. To prepare for the onslaught to come, the game features no less than seven tutorial stages. After that, you'll be able to go through a campaign mode with 34 stages across seven chapters.

There are 23 kinds of playable crabs in total, as well as 48 different weapons and 11 unique battle arenas. Fight Crab features a variety of matchmaking options including 1v1, 2v2, and offline and online co-op and versus battle modes.

Players will even be able to use Joy-Con motion controls to freely manipulate limbs to punch, grab and flip your way to victory. Last but not least, Fight Crab includes a Photo Mode that allows players to capture, share and immortalize their epic confrontations and intense battles.

Fight Crab will also make it to PC on July 30, so those who don't own a Nintendo Switch can get the game from Steam.
