The big championships in Europe are all heading towards their conclusions, with a very exciting race between Leicester and Tottenham making headlines in England, and that means players deliver impressive performances that EA Sports evaluates before creating the Team of the Week package for the Ultimate Team mode in FIFA 16.

This week gamers will be able to get access to Sergio Aguero, who has managed to reach the 100 goals milestone and has been working hard to make Manchester City a top four team in the current season.

The attacking line of the Team of the Week is led by the Argentinian, who is joined by Benzema, who has been playing well for Real Madrid, and by Lewandowski, who is moving towards another title with Bayern.

When it comes to midfield players, who need to have solid work rates and the ability to unlock a defensive line with a solid pass, EA Sports is giving fans access to Pogba, the biggest Juventus star, as well as Junuzovic and Boufal.

The defensive compartment of the Team of the Week for FIFA 16 is made up of Raggi, Hummels, Lascelles and Danilo Pereira.

The goalkeeper selected by the developers at EA Sports for the first eleven is Gomes.

The Team of the Week package also offers seven substitutes that gamers can use to shore up a particular position in their team or can sell in order to get resources to sign another big star, and there are another five players that the studio has been offering since the launch of FIFA 16 to make sure there are choices for the semi-random Draft mode.

FIFA 17 is not yet officially announced

The only nugget of information we have about the new football simulation experience from EA Sports is that publisher Electronic Arts is not interested in putting Lionel Messi, the Barcelona star, on the cover because of a dispute over compensation for the role.

It seems that the plan is to get another big player to be the athlete that will promote the game, and rumors are saying that the search is currently focusing on the Premier League, the wealthiest championship in the world at the moment.

EA Sports will probably make an official announcement about FIFA 17 during the events that it will hold alongside the E3 2016 trade show in June, and the game might even be playable for those who attend.

The company needs to find a way to improve the Ultimate Team mode, which has become one of the major sources of revenue for the company but has also been criticized for the fact that limited innovation has been introduced over the past few years.
