The development team at EA Sports is ready to reveal the composition of the new Team of the Week package for the Ultimate Team mode in FIFA 16, which allows gamers to get access to some superstar players, including Luis Suarez, who had a great match for Barcelona and scored an impressive hat trick.

All those selected managed to deliver impressive performances for their club teams over the weekend and represent solid assets for those gamers who intend to improve the Chemistry of their team or simply want more options for a particular position.

For the attacking line of the Team of the Week package, EA Sports has selected Luis Suarez as well as Karim Benzema and Sergio Aguero, two other impressive strikers.

The midfield section is very important in FIFA 16, with players required to both contribute to defensive efforts and create openings for attackers to score, and features Wayne Rooney, who scored a decisive goal against Liverpool, as well as Eriksen, Ansaldi, and Sanchez.

The defensive section of the new Team of the Week for Ultimate team is made up of Daniels, Van Polen, and Filipe Luis.

The goalkeeper that EA Sports chose for the new package is Ruffier.

As always, gamers who pick him up will also get the classic seven substitutes, all decent players who can be used to shore up a particular troublesome position or can provide the required cash to secure the services of a bigger star.

For FIFA 16, the developers are also offering another five players that have put in solid performances to make sure that gamers have plenty of options when they engaged with the new Draft mode for Ultimate Team, which offer a semi-random take on the experience with some fast and engaging tournaments and good rewards.

FIFA 17 might not feature Lionel Messi on the official cover

The development team delivered a major update for the current installment of its football simulation in December, and further tweaks for gameplay might be introduced next month, although the company has not offered any details about the tweaks it is planning.

January is a big month for clubs all over Europe, as they are deciding whether to dip into the transfer market to improve their performance during the second half of the season.

EA Sports will deliver a series of changes to the rosters of FIFA 16 in February to make sure that they are as close to those of the real world as possible while using the same occasion to make sure that the stats of the players themselves accurate.

While the title gets more improvements, the bulk of the EA Sports team is focused on the development of the next chapter in the franchise, FIFA 17, which will arrive in the fall on the PC, the Xbox One, and the PlayStation 4.

No details about its core mechanics have been revealed yet, but a recent rumor is suggesting that the contract linking EA Sports with Lionel Messi is ending and that the Barcelona star will no longer be on the cover of the title, with the company searching for replacements right now.
