The team at EA Sports in charge of the FIFA 16 title is announcing that it is working with Spanish club Real Madrid as an official partner for the coming football simulation, which means a new set of player likenesses for the superstars playing for the club.

Jamie McKinlay, vice president of marketing, states, "Real Madrid is one of the most popular clubs in the world, and that’s also true within our game; we are looking forward to building a deeper connection with the club in the coming years."

The deal is set to run for three years and the first results are that 14 of the most important players from Real Madrid will have updated 3D head scans, meaning that they will move and behave more realistically on the pitch.

The list of players who get improved faces and moves includes Cristiano Ronaldo, Sergio Ramos, James Rodriguez, Luka Modric, Karim Benzema, and more.

Emilio Butragueno, the director of institutional relations at Real Madrid, believes that players from the club are eager to play FIFA 16 and that there are more opportunities for the two companies to work together in the future.

The Bernabeu stadium is also getting some benefits from the partnership, set to display player celebrations created with the EA Sports simulations.

Visitors will also be able to get hands-on time with FIFA 16 in a special area.

FIFA 16 features women athletes for the US and Canadian covers

A partnership with Real Madrid is an almost classic move for EA Sports, but the company has been very pushing for some big innovations when it comes to FIFA 16.

The video game will include an all-new women's mode, which allows gamers to choose from 12 national teams and play with line-ups that approach football in a different manner.

Alex Morgan from the United States and Christine Sinclair from Canada are also present on the official cover of FIFA 16 alongside Lionel Messi.

All that's left at the moment is for EA Sports to offer actual information about the changes that it is making to the Ultimate Team mode in the coming simulation.

FIFA 16 will be launched on the PC, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 on September 22, and there are also Legacy versions for older consoles.
