Gamers should look forward to more pink players

The development team at EA Sports is delivering a new Team of the Week package for the Ultimate Team mode in FIFA 15 and the paucity of high-profile games going on at the moment means that most of the featured players are from the MLS and other small championships and the only one above the 80 overall mark is past great Roy Keane.

The attacking line of the new package includes the former Ireland international and Adi, with the team presented in a rather classic 4-4-2 formation.

In midfield, gamers can rely on Kljestan, Jensen, Lee Jae Sun and Yoon Bit Ga.

The back four of the Team of the Week is made up of Danielsen, Strandenberg, Miazga and Yun Young.

The goalkeeper selected by EA Sports is also from Korea, Shin Hwa.

As always, gamers can also pick up substitutes for their Ultimate Team line-up.

Considering the limited quality on offer, most fans of FIFA 15 are better off waiting to get more information about the new pink items that are being introduced, which are reserved for those stars that manage to pick up nominations and awards in the coming Futties awards.

At the moment, Daniel Sturridge is delivered for free to all Ultimate Team players because he was used to score a huge amount of goals for the community.

More details are set to arrive later in the day.

FIFA 16 has not yet revealed information about its own take on Ultimate Team

The mode has been growing in popularity during the past few years, and EA Sports needs to deliver some new concepts while also keeping the core mechanics pretty much unchanged.

It's unclear when more details about it will be offered, but the studio has so far said that it is aiming for increased security for the players and a more level-playing field.

EA Sports has shown some improvements for the simulation during E3 2015, including more options for all aspects of the sports and better graphics.

The company has also recruited Lionel Messi to show off his no touch dribbling technique, which is not featured in the game.

FIFA 16 will be out on September 24 and can be played on the PC, the Xbox One from Microsoft and the PlayStation 4 from Sony and older devices will get Legacy editions of the title.
