Waiting times for the iPhone X are almost gone, as customers in the United States can now order the device with next-day delivery.

Apple’s anniversary iPhone went on sale on November 3 in limited numbers, as the company has struggled to deal with a series of production issues that eventually caused constrained supply.

The original inventory, which was estimated at approximately 3 million units, was sold out in approximately 10 minutes in the United States, with shipping estimates then pushed back to no less than 6 weeks.

Apple has gradually reduced waiting times for the iPhone X since then, with the latest update taking place in early December when the official website pointed to a shipping estimate of around one week.

64GB iPhone X inventory improving

But as it turns out, the iPhone X is now available for next-day delivery in the United States at carriers in the United States, including AT&T. The Apple Store still has December 12 as the shipping estimate, but users on reddit claim ordered iPhone X are shipped a lot sooner, most likely as more units arrive in stores.

The 256GB version of the iPhone X, on the other hand, is still hard to find with a short waiting time, but shipping estimates should improve in this case as well as production gains speed.

Apple was originally projected to align iPhone X production with demand in late December, thus leading to bigger sales with no waiting times in early 2018, but people close to the matter revealed that yield rates have improved substantially lately.

This means that iPhone X production could be close to reaching full speed, in turn leading to more stock becoming available for customers across the world. This is clearly a key moment for Apple, especially because it happens before Christmas when the iPhone X is likely to benefit from growing sales.
