Fallout 76 has been heavily supported by Bethesda since its troubled release, and many say the game has become decent enough to give it one more try. Earlier this week, Bethesda released yet another important Fallout 76 update called Steel Dawn.

Steel Dawn marks the return of the Brotherhood of Steel to Appalachia, so players will be given the chance to take on a new questline, meet new characters, explore new locations, and gain some new rewards in the process. Also, it's important to mention that the Steel Dawn update introduces the C.A.M.P. Shelters feature, hunger and thirst improvements, and a lot of other gameplay features.

In this update, players will be able to explore the first chapter of The Brotherhood of Steel's history. The Steel Dawn quests and Daily Ops offer new weapons and armor as rewards. These come straight from the Brotherhood arsenal, so the more reason to tackle them as soon as possible.

Another important change introduced in the update is the removal of all negative effects from Hunger and Thirst. Instead, players will receive buffs that increase based on how well-fed and hydrated they are.

Starting December 1, the bundles in the Atomic Shop will have their prices lowered automatically for players who already own some of the items they contain.

Now, to start the new Steel Dawn questline, you'll need to go to Fort Atlas (ATLAS Observatory) in the Savage Divide region of Appalachia. As long as you're character is at least level 20, you'll be able to begin the Steel Dawn quests immediately, even if you haven't completed any prior Fallout 76 quest content.

To start the questline with an eligible character, a quest called “Welcome to the Neighborhood” will pop up when you log in to the game, so make sure to visit Fort Atlas to kick things off. Bethesda made it even easier for players to start the new questline by allowing them to fast travel to Fort Atlas for free.

However, for players who had already discovered ATLAS Observatory before the Steel Dawn update, its icon will no longer be visible on the map. This means that those players must revisit the area to discover Fort Atlas, which will make the market appear on the map.

The PC update, Steam version, weighs in at 8.8GB, but if you play on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, the update requires up to 16GB of disk space. The same goes for the PC version on Microsoft Store.
