Android and iOS versions already have “Like” reactions

If you're an avid Facebook user then you already know the latest gimmick added by the social network giant a few days ago called emoji reactions.

Facebook users can now tap and hold the Like button to get a context menu where they can choose one of the several emoji implemented by Facebook. Basically, the Like button has turned into a “haha,” “love,” “sad,” or “angry” emoji.

This feature has been initially implemented on the desktop version of Facebook, but then was quickly made available to Android and iOS applications via updates.

Unfortunately, Facebook for Windows 10 Mobile hasn't been updated with the new features, so if you hoped to get these emoji reactions on your smartphone you'll be disappointed to hear that they're not yet available.

Microsoft updated Facebook Beta for Windows 10 Mobile with bug fixes and improvements, but the emoji reaction feature hasn't been implemented.

According to the official changelog (via Neowin), the update should fix some issues with comments, upload and problems with loading feed content.

If you've decided to use Facebook Beta for Windows 10 Mobile just to be able to take advantage of the new feature implemented by Microsoft before they are brought to the stable build, then you will be able to benefit from other improvements too.

Many improvements over the stable version

The beta version should offer profile post editing, cover photo and profile picture management, threaded comments, comment reply and album comment functionality, as well as the option to create new albums via post composer.

The update should also add some improvements to Continuum experience, as well as stability and contact sync improvements. Other enhancements confirmed by Microsoft include sections like interactive notification, News Feed, and date & time localization. Also, you can now share content to external sources.

If you don't have the application yet, you can now download Facebook Beta for Windows 10 Mobile for free via Windows Store.
