Great news for Facebook heavy users as the company has just released another tool that will keep its users connected to its services even more.

The new Instant Articles application provides iPhone users will thousands of articles every day that will be shown in News Feed.

According to Facebook, those who use its application will be able to see a lightning bolt on the top right corner of some stories shared in News Feed. That sign is an indication that it's an Instant Article.

But that's not all, as Facebook states that those who decide to read that article and tap on it will notice that it loads 10x faster than a standard mobile web article.

This means that the new Instant Articles app should provide users with a richer reading experience than standard mobile web articles.

It promises a faster, richer reading experience

Among the most interesting features included in Instant Articles, Facebook mentions the readers’ ability to engage more deeply with BuzzFeed's Instant articles by liking and commenting on individual photos and video while reading a story.

There are many amazing photo galleries in Instant Articles from The New York Times, which iPhone users will be able to seamlessly browse through.

Also, when someone shares a link on Facebook, the richer experience is displayed automatically if an Instant Article version is available.

For the time being, Instant Articles are available from US publishers like The New York Times, National Geographic, Cosmopolitan, NBC News, The Atlantic, The Huffington Post, Vox Media and more.

The application has been tested on iPhone for a few months now, so it shouldn't have any major bugs in the first version.

According to Facebook, the same will be done for the Android version, which is supposed to be released later this year. Those who are into testing will be pleased to know that a public beta version of Instant Articles will be available this week.
