14 DAY TRIAL // From Midnight Games comes one of the original games launched this year. It's called Exorcise The Demons and it's now available on Steam for just $19.99. This is an asymmetrical multiplayer game with a twist, so if you're into co-op games here is the gist of it.
Exorcise The Demons is a co-op multiplayer game where players assume the role of an exorcist, possessed by the soul of a mysterious woman. The other player will help you escape from Hell by purging it of the demonic powers which haunt it.
You only need one copy of the game to play co-op, since one player will accomplish arcane rites in-game, while the other player will read from mysterious the Book of Rituals. The game requires perfect communication between the players since they will have to constantly share information between them.
The Book of Rituals will be provided to you in a PDF format along once you purchase the game, which means that the second player can open it on a phone, tablet, or laptop and guide the first player through the steps.
As you play Exorcise The Demons, you'll learn more about the protagonists and the secrets of the void by studying prizes you earn as you complete rituals. According to developers, the game features a fascinating story, which is divided into 25 missions.
The game is dubbed by Brigitte Lecordier (Witcher, Skyrim) and Pierre-Alain De Garrigues (Diablo, Warcraft, Hearthstone), and features seven different rituals that are generated randomly. Also, there will be some secrets in the game that you'll be able to access by winning artifacts.
As far as the visuals go, the folks at Midnight Games promise a rich universe in HD graphics. At first glance, Exorcise The Demons does offer an original cooperative gameplay experience, so it might worth a look.
