Developers Dodge Roll and Singlecore Games, along with publisher Devolver Digital have just revealed that Exit the Gungeon, the game that debuted on Apple Arcade last year, is now available on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch.

Exit the Gungeon is a bullet hell dungeon climber and a sequel to Enter the Gungeon, the popular indie game launched back in 2016. Players can buy the game right now via Steam for just $8 / €8, but the soundtrack of the game can be purchase as well for $5.7 / €5.7.

In Exit the Gungeon, players are armed with a strange weapon that changes all the time. There's a lot of loot, as well as the most trusty move from the series, the dodge roll. The main objective of the game, as the name suggests, is to ascend and escape via a unique route of increasingly perilous elevators.

As far as the enemies go, you'll be fighting the last and most bitter of the Gundead, which includes some familiar faces and a few new ones. Exit the Gungeon features shifting rooms, enemies, bosses, bizarre weapons and items, which blend together to offer players different experiences every time they start a new attempt to Exit the Gungeon.

Along with the game, developers announced the latest update will bring an arsenal of additions, improvements, and tweaks. These changes represent a substantial overhaul to Exit the Gungeon for players on all platforms.

Expect new weapons, items, enemies, and bosses to be included in the update. Dozens of weapons have been upgraded and new items like the Spiked Boots are now included. Also, the Gungeon has been revamped with new rooms and elevators, which should offer increased variety.

Last but not least, the update brings massive changes to how the game spawns and places enemies, and an increased challenge level to match what fans of the series have come to expect. Not to mention that new purely cosmetic character-specific hats can be found throughout the Gungeon, as players tackle redesigned minigames and chat up a host of NPCs with new interactions and quests.
