14 DAY TRIAL // As promised at the beginning of the week, the September 2015 issue of Empire Magazine will be a real treat for comic book fans for whom the wait until March 2016, when “Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice” comes out, is too long to bear.
In addition to the cover of the mag, which introduced a new but not too revealing image of the titular characters, who will be locked in direct combat in the film, the online issue has debuted 3 new images.
You can find them in the gallery below, but perhaps the most startling things about the release are these: there’s a rumor that Superman is standing in the ruins of Wayne Manor, and that’s the first proper look at Lex Luthor before he goes completely bad.
The Batman pic by the Batsignal has been seen before.
As a bonus, also in the gallery you will find scans from the photos included inside the magazine. Now, here’s where the real treat is, because these include shots from the set not seen before, either in promo pics or trailers.
“Dawn of Justice” is the first film in Warner Bros.’ planned Justice League franchise, and also stars Amy Adams, Gal Gadot and Jeremy Irons, in addition to Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Jesse Eisenberg.
