Terrence Howard, star of the hit series “Empire,” is still being mocked and criticized online for the rambling interview he gave to Rolling Stone for their latest issue, so a little skit he and his co-star Taraji P. Henson came up with for the Emmys 2015 fell short because of it.

The two walked up on stage together to present an award, but after Taraji fumbled one of her lines, they did a little improv. She told him that he was making her nervous and, in response, he grabbed her by the arm and kissed her on the cheek.

Taraji’s reaction was initially a pleasantly surprised one, but when she realized Terrence wasn’t looking, she wiped her face and rolled her eyes.

Some users on social media and many celebrity pundits believe that she was “dissing” her co-star, whom she can’t stand.

However, that would imply she didn’t think the cameras would capture her second reaction, which seems hard to believe. Plus, Taraji and Terrence are actually good friends, with the actress admitting in a recent interview that she told producers of “Empire” she would only do the show if they brought Terrence on board as well.

So even if Terrence is a wife beater who may or may not have discovered a new branch of math, called Terryology, which proves that 1 times 1 doesn’t equal 1, but 2, chances are he and Taraji are actually on very good terms.
