Andy Samberg spoofs “Mad Men” series finale in hilarious skit for the Emmys 2015

Andy Samberg didn’t bring his SNL partner-in-crime Justin Timberlake with him on stage at last night’s Emmys 2015 (which he hosted), for a rendition of their infamous “[Expletive] in a Box” duet, but he did deliver one hilarious musical spoof.

Combining references to the now-defunct series “Mad Men” and the world-famous 1971 Coca Cola ad “I’d Like to Buy the World a Coke,” the spoof aimed to make the Emmys the first awards show where there were no losers.

Because so far, the Emmys have been great for the nominees who won, but they must have been miserable for all those others who lost.

Enter Andy Samberg, in a scene that will ring very familiar to fans of “Mad Men,” with an idea to make the world a far happier place by giving everyone in it their very own, personal Emmy.

Instead of doing that, though, Samberg ended up showing that Emmys can be very dangerous, and in the case of “Parks and Recreation” star Jim O’Heir, even downright fatal.

You can see the funny segment in full in the video below. Speaking of “Mad Men,” it finally brought Jon Hamm the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, after years of being nominated and not winning.
