Almost all of those games were a success

Electronic Arts is making sure that its Star Wars games are getting more exposure by adding them to Origin Access.

In case you didn’t already know this, Origin Access is a subscription service from Electronic Arts that allows users to play games from a vast library. Pretty much all EA’s selection of games are present, but some of the older titles haven’t made an appearance just yet.

Now that EA is preparing to reveal its new Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, the company figured out that people might enjoy replaying some of the older titles. I also have to point out that the only people that will be able to enjoy these titles were kids when some of the games were released, which means that they might well in their 30s right now. That’s not an awful lot of teenagers.

Play them again and again

It’s likely that the community feels that the best days of EA Star Wars games are behind, and we can only hope that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will change our minds. In the meantime, you can play Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, Battlefront II (Classic, 2005), Republic Commando, Rogue Squadron 3D, Dark Forces, Shadows of the Empire, X-Wing Alliance, Jedi Knight: Mysteries of the Sith, Galactic Battlegrounds Saga, Starfighter, Episode I Racer, and Rebellion.

Origin Access is not all that expensive if you’re an EA fan, just $30 a year. If you are willing to fork $100 a year, you will also get access to their latest titles, like Anthem for example. It also means that you can play some games well before everyone else.

All of these games are part of our childhoods and revisiting them from time to time can be a fun exercise, especially since they have been made to work on modern systems.
