Instead of bringing its games to NVIDIA GeForce NOW and tap into brand new audiences, SEGA has decided to start including some of the games it publishes into EA's Origin Access subscription-based service. Beginning this week, Sonic Mania will be available to all Origin Access Premier members, which costs $15 per month (€100 per year).

Origin Access Premier gives full access to all EA games days before they release. Also, a library of games that are not necessarily developed by EA is available to all those who pay for membership. Finally, there's a 10% discount on Origin digital purchases that Premier members receive all the time.

Probably no one will pay for an Origin Access Premier membership just because SEGA added Sonic Mania to the service, but they might if they will get many more. EA revealed that two other SEGA titles will come to Origin Access Premier later this summer: Two Point Hospital and Endless Legend.

Two Point Hospital is a sequel or a reboot of the Theme Hospital franchise, a game where you take the role of a hospital administrator and start designing hospitals, cure peculiar illnesses, and manage troublesome stuff on your way to healthcare greatness.

On the other hand, Endless Legend is a 4x turn-based fantasy strategy that feels and plays like Civilization but has a few twists that make it different. It's one of the better strategy games that followed Civilization's formula and became successful overnight. Endless Legend is a must-play for all those who like this type of game.

As far as Sonic Mania goes, if you have an Origin Access Premier membership, you can download the game right now via Origin. Keep in mind that EA offers a cheaper Origin Access Basic membership for just €4 per month, but if you pay for that, you won't have access to SEGA games.
