The Dying Light 2 saga is close to an end. The tumultuous development of one of the most anticipated games of the year has just made a step toward the light at the end of the tunnel with the announcement of a release date and a brand new gameplay trailer.

Without further ado, Techland confirmed Dying Light 2 Stay Human will be released on December 7 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The announcement was made during the first episode of Dying 2 Know, a unique and immersive in-game web series diving deep into the world of the game.

The way Techland decided to announce the release date of the game seems to be copied from its neighbor, CD Projekt Red, which released several Night City Wire episodes that offered details about Cyberpunk 2077. That's really no surprise considering both studios come from the same country, Poland.

Anyway, along with the release date, Techland also announced that pre-orders are now open for those who'd like to get the game before it launches later this year. There are three retail and three digital editions available for pre-order, so each gamer is likely to find an edition with unique content that suits them best.

Those looking for physical content can choose between Standard, Deluxe, and Collector’s Editions, while digital buyers can get one of the three editions: Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate. More importantly, everyone who pre-orders any version of the game will receive an exclusive digital Reload Pack, featuring a unique outfit, weapon, and paraglider skins.

In the same piece of news, Techland has prepared an interesting bundle for newcomers to the franchise. The bundle is called Dying Light Platinum Edition and contains all DLC that has been released so far, at the best value, available on Steam, GOG, PlayStation Store (available only for PlayStation Plus members), and Microsoft Store.
