More than a month ago, Gameloft released the first major update for Dungeon Hunter 5, which provided players with lots of new content and gameplay features.

Unfortunately, the new update called Xinkashi, was only released on Android and iOS platforms, while Windows Phone players were left to wait for the new content.

Well, as the saying goes, later is better than never. Beginning today, Windows Phone fans can experience the new features and improvements Gameloft added to Dungeon Hunter 5 Xinkashi update.

Aside from the new changes already available on Android and iOS, Gameloft announced that the Windows Phone version of the game also received Xbox Live support.

Moving on to the actual new features included in the latest update for Dungeon Hunter 5, it's worth mentioning developers have added 5 more Stronghold rooms that players can build up with 5 new deadly traps, from the vicious Venom Spitters to the unpredictable Scorching Gyro.

New daily and weekly challenges have been added

But that's no all, as exclusive events set in one of these Stronghold rooms, designed and trapped by the most wicked Xinkashi builders and guarded by Lady Tzimeko, the finest blade from the Far East, will be held each day.

During these daily events, players can win tickets that can be used to improve chances to reap the most powerful items in the Xinkashi chest.

Players can hire up to 5 minions to guard their Stronghold, and master 5 new weapons and armors, forged in the fire of the Xinkashi mountains.

The update also brings new weekly Wanted Challenges in which players can earn 5 new boss armors and weapons. Also, three new missions in solo mode have been added too, along a new collection book where players can see what they have looted, and what still remains.

You can now download Dungeon Hunter 5 for Windows Phone for free via Windows Phone Store. The game should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Windows Phone 8 and up.
