14 DAY TRIAL // Great news for Dungeon Defenders fans, as the developer Chromatic Games has just released the last installment in the beloved saga on Steam. Although it's not a full-fledged launch yet, those who want to quench their thirst for tower defense action can now buy Dungeon Defenders: Awakened on Steam Early Access.
But we won't have to wait too long for the final release, which is scheduled to happen in Q2 2020 on both PC and Nintendo Switch platforms. As far as the price goes, this one sells for $40 / €34 while it's in early access, a bit steep compared to the previous games in the series.

Gameplay-wise, Dungeon Defenders: Awakened is a co-op tower defense action RPG where players embark on a new, time-traveling adventure to rescue Etheria from the murderous Old Ones. The game includes many of the previous games' levels, some reimagined fan favorites, and a ton of new levels.
In Dungeon Defenders: Awakened, you play as one of the four unique heroes and team up and strategize with other players in the build phase. You'll be preparing for an outpouring of orcs, dark elves, goblins, and fearsome bosses. During this phase, you can place defensive fortification in the enemy's path to halt their progress while your ballistic towers bombard their ranks.
Just like the previous games, Dungeon Defenders: Awakened promises tons of loot, four difficulty settings, 12 pets, additional game modes and 12 maps to play on. However, new content will be added monthly, including more game modes, bosses, vendors, animal companions, and a few more surprises.
