When he was fired from the now-defunct CBS series “Two and a Half Men” in 2011 because of his severe drug and alcohol addiction, which made it impossible for him to honor his work commitments or otherwise act in a professional manner, Charlie Sheen promised that his “addiction” was totally in check.

He did say that rehab and AA were for people who didn’t have tiger blood like he did, but insisted that he had everything under control. Apparently, he doesn’t: over the weekend, he was put in a headlock and kicked out of a bar because of it.

Charlie Sheen goes out to party, gets in trouble

The video below was shot on a cellphone without Sheen’s knowledge, in a bar in OC, California, where he and friends had stopped for a drink after a day out fishing. TMZ reports that the drink turned into several and that, within hours, Sheen was “blitzed,” which is also obvious on the video, as blurry as it is.

At one point, he noticed that a woman was trying to take a photo of him on her cellphone, so he went over to her and knocked it out of her hand. This is when security stepped in, put him in a headlock and unceremoniously kicked him out.

Somehow, Sheen didn’t see the person shooting the video that was then sold to TMZ and posted online. However, once outside, he cooled down and even insisted on shaking hands with the guy that had managed to get him out, before jumping into his car with his friends and leaving.

The same media outlet says that he wasn’t driving.

Radar Online claims that the scene inside was even more violent than initially reported, and that Sheen got into a “bloody fight” with a bass player, after he noticed he was trying to sneak in a photo of him on his phone.

Charlie Sheen and a long history of abuse

Charlie Sheen was the highest paid actor on television back in the day when he was one of the “Men” in “Two and a Half Men,” which most definitely contributed to his problems.

His 2011 meltdown, which came after he was fired from the show, remains one of the most impressive (and not in a good way) celebrity scandals of all time. It also cemented his reputation as a very difficult and troubled celebrity, the kind that knew too much fame and money to the point of forgetting what it is like to lead a normal life.

Getting axed from the show and thus losing the millions that came with it did little to curb Sheen’s hard-partying ways, it’s clear. The only difference is that, now, he can do so under the radar, because he’s not missing work or spending time around people who might leak his scandalous story to the press.
