It's no mystery that Dragon Age 4 is already in development at BioWare, but what we don't know yet is when exactly the game will be launched. The last time we heard about the game, CFO Blake Jorgensen said that Dragon Age 4 will probably be released after the fiscal year 2022.

Well, considering that the fiscal year 2022 begins April 2021 and ends March 2022, it looks like Dragon Age 4 is still far away. Even so, BioWare might start to unveil information about the game as early as 2019, at least according to one of the company's tweets that went live over the weekend.

According to that tweet, BioWare plans to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the series with a Dragon Age 4 announcement on December 4: “Today marks 10 years of Dragon Age! This year we're excited to join the community's party on December 4th and celebrate a decade together in the world we love. See you on 12/4 for Dragon 4age Day!,” reads the tweet.

It's hard to predict what will happen early next month, but the first Dragon Age 4 teaser trailer released last year didn't reveal too much about the game, so we're hoping that BioWare will show more about the setting and perhaps some of the new and old characters.

Although many of us lost faith in BioWare's ability to create epic games after the last two titles that failed to achieve greatness – Mass Effect: Andromeda and Anthem, we're hopeful that the studio has taken all the feedback to heart and will try to deliver a better product.

Of course, BioWare might not be at fault at all since Electronics Arts usually dictates the creative direction for every major title in development at one of its studios. We definitely want another good Dragon Age game, just please, don't be another “game-as-a-service” title.
