Microsoft adds new games to Xbox Game Pass each month, but some of the games added will leave the subscription service after a while. Today, the Redmond-based company revealed the five new games that will be added to Xbox Game Pass in October and five others that will no longer be available after next month.

First off, Doom Eternal, one of the best shooters of 2020, is joining Xbox Game Pass on October 1. Unfortunately, the game will only be available on Xbox One and Android, although PC players will get it for free later on. That being said, you're required to own a valid Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription to be able to play Doom Eternal starting later this week.

As we reported last week, Drake Hollow is making its debut on PC on October 1. The village-building survival game will be added to Xbox Game Pass day one, so members of the service can check it out solo or with friends.

Then, Brutal Legend will be available on Xbox One starting October 8. Double Fine's cult classic action-comedy game features an iconic voice cast and cameo appearances from some of the world's biggest rock musicians.

Another important addition to Xbox Game Pass is Forza Motorsport 7, which will be available on PC, Xbox One, and Android from October 8. It's one of the most comprehensive, authentic, and gorgeously-looking racing game ever made.

Last but not least, Ikenfell, a turn-based tactical RPG about a group of magic students, joins Xbox Game Pass (PC and Xbox One) on October 8. Apart from these five games coming to the service in the first week of October, Microsoft revealed that five games will leave Xbox Game Pass next month.

The following games will be leaving Microsoft's service on October 15: Felix the Reaper, Metro 2033 Redux, Minit, Saints Row IV Re-Elected, and State of Mind. If any of these games are on your wishlist, make sure you finish them in the next two weeks.
