Disintegration, the first-ever game developed by studio V1 Interactive, will be kicking off a “play for free” weekend later this week. Either you're on PC, PlayStation 4, or Xbox One, you'll be able to play Disintegration at no expense between July 30 and August 3.

The timings for the free weekend are different for each platform, so here are the details. The PS4 free weekend will begin on July 30 at 9 am PST and will end on August 3 at 9 am PST. Xbox One players will be able to play Disintegration for free starting July 30, 12 am PST and until August 2, 11:59 pm PST. Finally, on PC (via Steam), Disintegration will be free between July 30, 10 am PST and August 3, 1 pm PST.

Now, because Disintegration features a solid multiplayer aspect, if you're playing on Xbox One or PlayStation 4, you'll need Xbox Gold and PlayStation Plus, respectively, to have access to the game during the weekend hours.

Before you ask, yes, all the progress that you earn during the play for free weekend can be transferred to the full game for anyone who purchases Disintegration until the end of the promo. Disintegration will be offered at a discount of 40% on all three platforms: PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

If you've never heard of the game developed by Halo's co-founder, Marcus Lehto, we have an in-depth Disintegration review that can answer almost all your questions. In Disintegration, you'll be piloting so-called Gravcycles while giving orders to your ground troops as you battle through a single-player campaign or exhilarating PvP matches.

We advise all players who are even in the slightly interested to try out the Disintegration, to take advantage of the play for free weekend and decide for themselves whether or not it's worth their time.
