Disintegration, the first-person shooter from Halo co-creator Marcus Lehto's studio V1 Interactive and Private Division, will run a closed multiplayer technical beta later this month. Shortly after, an open beta will be available for those didn't have the chance to get into the closed beta.

Although the game does feature a single-player campaign, the closed beta will only cover the multiplayer aspect. Disintegration features three multiplayer modes, each with a variety of maps. Players must choose from several Crews, each equipped with a unique loadout and role in combat.

The closed multiplayer technical beta for Disintegration will begin in a few weeks on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The closed beta times are as follows: Tuesday | Jan 28, 2020 | 8 am PT-11:59pm PT and Wednesday | Jan 29, 2020 | 8 am PT-11:59pm PT.

Also, the open beta will follow shortly after starting on January 31st and running through February 1st, also on PS4, Xbox One and PC. As mentioned above, both betas let players test two of the three multiplayer game modes that will be available in the full game at launch.

Retrieval, one of the two modes players will get to play during the beta, lets them compete in two intense rounds in which one team attempts to deliver a payload which can only be carried by their ground crew while the other team defends.

In the second game mode, Control, two teams vie for domination over various capture points. Players must ensure their ground crew are alive and within the zone as this is the only way to accrue score to win the match.

The beta will allow players to choose one of the seven Crews available, such as the damage-boosting Tech Noir or the nuke-launching Warhedz. The purpose of the betas is to ensure stability and collect feedback ahead of when the game launches later this year.

If you plan to play Disintegration on PC, here are the recommended specifications: Intel i5 5th Generation / AMD Ryzen 5 1600, Nvidia GTX 970 / AMD RX 480, and 8GB RAM.
