Comedies about the partying that goes down on Spring Break are a dime a dozen, but here’s one unlike any other we’ve seen before: “Dirty Grandpa,” which arrives in theaters starting January 22, 2016.

Starring Robert De Niro as a foul-mouthed and very inappropriate grandfather and Zac Efron as the grandson who has to drive him to Florida after his grandmother’s death, “Dirty Grandpa” plays out like a blend of Spring Break comedy and a typical buddy comedy.

Efron has played frat boy-types before, most famously in the box office success “Neighbors,” but this role is slightly different, in that he’s not the one setting the tone of the party. His grandpa is, so expect a lot of old-man jokes and even more dirty humor.

Since this is also a movie about Spring Break, expect hot girls in skimpy bikinis, heavy drug use and lot of drinking as well. The trailer doesn’t include any downright offensive imagery or language, but it’s not exactly tame either.

Directed by Dan Mazer (“I Give It a Year”), the film also stars dancer turned actress Julianne Hough as the uptight and super-annoying fiancée, and Audrey Plaza as a young girl who falls for De Niro’s grandpa and wouldn’t mind if he “partied some babies into [her].”

Dermot Mulroney, Henry Zebrowski, Zoey Deutch and Adam Pally also appear.
