Gamers will get access to it before Season six

Video game developer Blizzard has ended the fifth Season for Diablo 3, and that means the action role-playing game is due for another major update in the coming days, before the sixth full Season launches, and the studio is ready to talk about some of the improvements that it's planning to make.

More transmogrification items are being added in patch 2.4.1 for the video game as the studio tries to make sure that gamers have options for their character, with the new patterns coming as common quality items that drop from name enemies or rare chests spread through the world.

Some of them are linked to the Adventure mode of Diablo 3 while others are related to certain Rift Guardians that need to be defeated.

Patch 2.4.1 is also set to deliver more non-combat companions for fans, which are not linked to special promotions or Season rewards, with players now able to defeat a certain character to get access to one of his pets, with a new one offered every time.

Blizzard adds, "A few extra-rare rewards have been sprinkled across Sanctuary. Some are rarer than others, but they’ll all present some challenge to track down. Know that only the most dedicated nephalem are destined to rock these special cosmetic items!"

Diablo 3 is planning to implement big tweaks for classes

The studio has also posted the full 2.4.1 update patch notes for the Public Test Realms, making it clear that it might make changes before the new modifications reach all the community, with those who play on those servers able to offer feedback about the improved version of the game.

There are a lot of modifications linked to the classes of Diablo 3, the items, the Adventure Mode, crafting, and monsters.

The developers have not mentioned when patch 2.4.1 will be live, but it should be offered before the sixth Season launches on April 19.

Diablo 3 was not well liked by gamers when it launched, but since then, Blizzard has implemented a wide variety of changes to the core gameplay and has added a number of new modes to keep the most dedicated of fans happy and engaged, mainly through the Seasons concept.

There's speculation that a second major expansion, with a big new area and a new character class, is set to be revealed before the end of the year, but it's just as likely that the developers are happy to continue improving the current version of the action RPG.
