14 DAY TRIAL // Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is a new game in the works at Eidos-Montréal, and it's scheduled to launch in just a few months. Developers have just unveiled the Jenson 2.0 trailer that shows off some of the gameplay and the preorder bonuses.
Now that the development of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is wrapping up, the studio has started to give users more glimpses into gameplay and the locations that are going to be visited. This is a direct sequel for the insanely popular Deux Ex: Human Revolution that took everyone by surprise.
Even if it had its limitation, the game was a gem, and the gaming community loved it. From what we've seen so far, Eidos-Montréal is taking things further without straying from the original recipe.
Players will once again get to control Jensen in a work torn apart by synthetic technology. He now has a lot more gadgets and modifications himself, and it will be fun to see what the developer will come up with next. The video shows some of his new powers and most of them seem to be lethal, although we suspect that players will still be able to go through the entire game without actually killing everyone.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will take players all over the world
The locations in the previous game were pretty exotic and took players from Detroit to Shanghai. The developers don't want to disappoint and this time we're going to visit Dubai and Prague. The studio also presented the new gun-arm augmentations like the Tesla, the Nanoblade and the PEPS.
"These augmentations are directly integrated into Adam’s arm (hence their name), and allow you to quickly switch between your weapons and augmentations. It’s all about giving you more tools to approach a given situation any way you want – lethal or non-lethal, combat or stealth, or a little bit of everything!," said Sacha Ramtohul, community manager at Eidos-Montréal.
Also, players who pre-order will get three weapons and item packs, extra in-game mission, the game OST, a comic book, a novella, and the digital artbook. You can pre-order the game right now from Steam.
