Video game developer Bungie is announcing that it is currently deploying a new hotfix for Destiny -The Taken King, labeled 2.0.0.4, which is designed to deal with a range of issues with the game that the community has been talking about since the new expansion was offered last week.

The studio explains that the delivery of the new content went smoothly and that gamers were able to enjoy the new activities without dealing with too many bugs, but there are still some big fixes that needed to be offered as fast as possible.

Hotfix 2.0.0.4 for Destiny improves quests, strikes, the dreadnought environment, the Three of Coins item that Xur has, and more.

A full list of the changes can be seen by clicking on the button at the end of this article.

Gamers will be prompted to download the new update for the game as soon as possible, which means that they will be kicked from their running activities in order to make sure that they are running the most recent version as soon as possible.

Destiny is a constantly evolving experience, and that means Bungie will continue to monitor feedback and to gather data in order to see how bigger patches can improve it in the coming months.

The Taken King adds a wide range of new content

The most important new activity in the shooter is the King's Fall raid, which allows gamers to deal with Oryx, the very powerful in-game boss who is mad that Guardians took down his son Crota.

The Taken King for Destiny also adds a number of new strikes, all of them designed to appeal to high-level players, and the game also features an increased number of weapons and equipment that will make Guardians feel more powerful.

There are also more end-game activities that cater to those who like both Player versus Environment and Player versus Player action.

Bungie has said that, for a while, it will focus on improving the overall game experience in any way it can, before talking about a new expansion for the shooter.

Destiny is a social shooter that was introduced late last year, and the development team aims to support it in the long term with both free and paid content.
