14 DAY TRIAL // Destiny is getting ready for the big and free update that will be delivered on April 12 and the developers at Bungie are now ready to offer more details about the way they will tweak the reputation that gamers earn as they play and the way the new Sterling Treasure will allow them to gain access to a wide range of new gear for Guardians.
Victoria Dollbaum, a senior designer, working on the social shooter, explains on the official site that, "Your time is valuable, so we’ve increased the amount of reputation you’ll gain by completing the activities you enjoy. We’ve heard that some collectors out there weren’t able to obtain the items they were looking for, so we’ve adjusted those too. We’re also hearing your concerns about the reputation booster."
Starting April 12, Destiny will deliver 120 Vanguard and 60 aligned faction reputation from Heroic Strikes, 90 reputation with a bonus for winning and 45 for aligned faction in Crucible, 40 Vanguard and 20 for faction from Kill and Collect patrols and 50 and 25 when it comes to Scan, Scout, VIP, and Taken.
In Prison of Elders level, 41 gamers will be able to get access to 150 House of Judgment reputation and Challenges of the Elders will deliver 100 for those who take part.
Destiny is getting a range of new equipment
When the April update for the social shooter arrives, new rewards will be introduced, some of them guaranteed for players who perform well and others only offered for the luckiest of them.
These new pieces of gear will be delivered by the Crucible Quartermaster, Vanguard Quartermaster, Master Rahool or Master Ives, Variks the Loyal and the faction leaders.
Queen’s Wrath and Crota’s Bane will not be affected by the big update for Destiny.
Sterling Treasures are new packages delivered once the game is updated and gamers will be able to get a wide range of rewards from them, with Bungie explaining that gamers who choose to break down their equipment will able to gain access to more Chroma.
In April, Destiny is also getting access to new strikes and a new mission and gamers will get an updated take on Prison of Elders.
According to Bungie, the plan is to offer all the PvE activities that gamers have been asking for during the past few months and information about the tweaks that will be made to the Crucible and the sandbox set to be offered in the coming week's live stream.
