14 DAY TRIAL // Destiny 2 continues to evolve and turn into what's meant to be from the beginning – game as a service. After getting away from the clutches of Activision-Blizzard, a company that would rather have new Destiny games every one or two years, Bungie brought the game to Steam and started pour in new expansions.
The next one scheduled for release later this year is called Beyond Light. Along with the unveiling of the upcoming expansion, Bungie also announced the next Destiny 2 season – Seasons of Arrivals – which is available starting this week.
In Destiny 2: Beyond Light, players will explore a changed universe, with a new destination, new adventures, and a handful of new powers to get to know. Europa, Jupiter's frozen moon is one of the focuses of the next expansion. Players must infiltrate the Golden Age Braytech facility and uncover the secrets that lie deep under the ancient ice.
A new mysterious power will be added to the game – Stasis. Guardians who wield this new elemental power alongside Arc, Solar, and Void will be able to summon epic super and control the battlefield. Each of Destiny 2's class – Titans, Warlocks, and Hunters will use Stasis in a different way.
More importantly, a new six-person raid in the Deep Stone Crypt will be added to the game when Beyond Light drops in a couple of months from now. Speaking of launch, Destiny 2: Beyond Light will arrive on PC and consoles on September 22.
Players who pre-order the game now will get instant access to a special Exotic Ghost Shell and Legendary Emblem. Also, Digital Deluxe owners will receive instant access to the new Exotic Freeze Tag emote.
The Destiny 2: Beyond Light Collector's Edition will only be available from the Bungie Store and includes a digital code for the game, Die-Cast Splinter of Darkness Replica with lights, the Europa Explorer’s Bag, the Europa Exploration Canteen, a Mysterious Logbook, plus other discoveries from Europa.
Last but not least, Destiny 2: Beyond Light The Stranger Edition is the only way for players to get an exclusive 10-inch statue of The Stranger, sold with purchase of the Deluxe Edition at select retailer worldwide.
