Desperados III was quite a success for publisher THQ Nordic and developer Mimimi Games, at least that we hope since the game is very good. If you're dying for more Desperados III action, fret not, as THQ Nordic has you covered.

The game's first DLC – Money for the Vultures (Part 1) will be available later today and adds a full new mission. One mission might not sound too much and the fact that even the DLC has been split into two parts doesn't help with the first impression.

Anyway, if you'd like to know, THQ Nordic is charging $6 for this DLC if you're playing on consoles and $5 if you have Desperados III on PC. According to developers, Money for the Vultures – Part 1 can be finished in about 90 – 120 minutes, depending on how you like to approach the mission and how many times you'll fail.

More information about the DLC includes details like setting and timeframe. So, Money for the Vultures takes place well after the events of Desperados III and brings Cooper and the gang back together to hunt down Vincent DeVitt's hidden riches.

Players must help the gang uncover a mysterious vault while avoiding bloodthirsty looters. You'll also have to find out if the enigmatic Rosie from Baton Rouge can really be trusted, or if she has her own interests at heart.

The good thing is that the new mission comes as part of the Desperados III Season Pass, so if you already own that, you'll get this first DLC for free. If you want to buy the Season Pass, you can do that for $13 (PC) or $15 (consoles). As mentioned earlier, the mission will be available today, September 2.

In the same piece of news, THQ Nordic announced that a free update for all owners of Desperados III will also be available. The update adds another epic Baron's challenge called Showdown.
