14 DAY TRIAL // THQ Nordic has just revealed the release date of its next big game, Desperados III. After teasing many aspects of the game the publisher announced Desperados III will be coming to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on June 16.
The game is now available for pre-order on PC for €50 / $50 / £45. However, early adopters will be able to purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition for the price of the Standard Edition for a limited time. Fans of the series will also have the chance to grab the Collector's Edition, which is now available for pre-order for €110 / $110 / £100 on PC and €120 / $120 / £110 on consoles (PlayStation 4 and Xbox One).
Those who just want the standard version of the console game will soon be able to pre-order Desperados III on either PlayStation 4 or Xbox One for €60 / $60 / £50.
The Desperados III Collector's Edition contains the following items: five 6-inch figurines featuring the iconic heroes, a music box that plays a piece of the soundtrack, official artbook, official soundtrack on CD, Season Pass including 3 new missions (coming in 2020), 8 postcards, and the base game.
Desperados III is a prequel of the beloved classic Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive, but the game remains faithful to the old tactical stealth formula. We'll be able to play with five unique characters, each with a very particular set of skills: the runaway bride Kate, the shady hitman Doc McCoy, the giant trapper Hector, and Isabelle, a mysterious lady from New Orleans.
In this new installment in the Desperados series, players will be able to take advantage of the Showdown mode, which lets them pause the game anytime and give orders to ambush or execute surprise attacks at the same time with multiple characters. Desperados III is all about combining the skills of your characters to succeed, but it's up to you to choose between non-lethal and deadly attacks, stealth and blazing guns.
