Deep Sky Derelicts, the tactical rogue-like RPG launched two years ago is getting a definitive edition. Publisher 1C Entertainment and developer Snowhound Games have just announced that Deep Sky Derelicts: Definitive Edition will be available for PC, Xbox One, Playstation 4, and Nintendo Switch on March 24. The game, along with all its DLCs, will be priced at $25 / €25.

Speaking of which, Deep Sky Derelicts Definitive Edition combines the overhauled base game with its two DLCs – New Prospects and Station Life. Both expansions add new gameplay features, character upgrades, home base improvements, monsters, missions and much more.

Since we've already reviewed the game at launch, you might to read our in-depth article, although the developer did improve it over the years. Snowhound Games claims Deep Sky Derelicts has been remarkably polished, expanded, and enhanced with fresh content and multiple new features, in the months following its PC release.

Deep Sky Derelicts is set in a grim dystopian future when mankind has scattered across the galaxy and human society has split into two distinct classes. Players will be taking the roles of a poor, stateless outcast forced to live off scraps from derelict stations and ships in outer space. Apparently, a fabled alien derelict ship rumored to be hidden within the Deep Sky sector of space is your ticket for citizenship and a cozy life on a hospitable planet.

The game features turn-based combat with cards, so if you're not attached to this genre, you might want to skip it. Graphics-wise, Deep Sky Derelicts has a dynamic sci-fi comic book look and feel, which is quite nice.

Not to mention that the game promises endless customization options for characters and scavenging teams, high replay value thanks to procedurally-generated content, as well as dozens of compelling little stories of the outcast life in the grim Deep Sky universe.
