If you're a PlayStation Plus subscriber, then you'll be happy to know the September if a great month for the premium service. Darksiders III and Batman: Arkham Knight are your free PS Plus games for September, Sony announced earlier today.

It's not often that we're seeing two triple-A games given for free as PS Plus games in the same month. Although many PS Plus subscribers probably own Batman: Arkham Knight already, Darksiders III is a relatively new title, so we're sure not many bought it yet, especially considering the rather lukewarm reception it got.

In Batman: Arkham Knight, you'll be descending into the besieged streets of Arkham City as DC’s most-iconic crime-fighting crusader. You'll be going against iconic villains, including Scarecrow, Harley Quinn, Killer Croc and more.

If you haven't played any Batman games until now, keep in mind that Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham Knight is the final game in the series, so you might want to complete the previous titles before playing this one.

As far as Darksiders III goes, you'll now be taking on the role of Fury, the most unpredictable and enigmatic of the Four Horsemen. After playing War and Death, it's time to scorch the Earth with Fury while hunting down and destroying the Seven Deadly Sins.

Both Batman: Arkham Knight and Darksiders III will be available to download from PlayStation Store between September 3 and September 30. If you haven't yet added August's PS Plus lineup, you still have a few days left.

Make sure that you add WipEout Omega Collection and Sniper Elite 4 to your library before September 2 since they will no longer be available for free after that date.

If you don't have PS Plus subscription yet, you can correct that for $9.99 per month or $60 per year, which will give you access to at least two PS4 games each month and online multiplayer.
