The PC system requirements for Dark Souls 3 have been revealed today after they have been posted on Steam.

The Dark Souls franchise had a really bad start on the PC platform. The first version of the game was almost unplayable, and it was basically a simple port from the console. It was repaired somewhat with patches and with help from the community.

The second one in the series was a little better, but it still needed work. You could tell that the PC was just a port and that it wasn’t considered an equal platform. Despite all of these problems, the PC community was very adamant, and it showed that they want the game. The developers and the publishers heard the community and Dark Souls 3 will be the first version of the game to land on all the platforms at the same time.

The system requirements are acceptable

Since Dark Souls 3 is a game that also runs on PlayStation 4, so it doesn’t need a lot of power. They are a little bit higher since some of the features will be changed, like texture resolution, for example, but they are not all that high. They have been removed since then, but they will probably be back soon.

The minimum system requirements include an AMD A8 3870 3.6 GHz or Intel Core i3 2100 3.1Ghz CPU, 8 GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 465 or ATI Radeon TM HD 6870 video cards, and 50GB of HDD space.

The recommended specs are a little bit higher. Users will need at least an AMD FX 8150 3.6 GHz or Intel Core i7 2600 3.4 GHz processor, 8 GB of RAM, and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 or ATI Radeon HD 7850 video cards. The rest remain the same. Windows 7 is the oldest OS supported by the game.

Dark Souls 3 is expected to arrive March 24, 2016, and there is no indication that it’s going to be delayed.
