Dark Souls 3 has just received a few more details about its upcoming beta, aka the Network Stress Test, as well as its worldwide debut. While the RPG is going to arrive at the end of March in Japan, it will hit North America and Europe in April, probably at the beginning of the month, across PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

Dark Souls 3 is one of the most anticipated games of 2016, as many RPG fans are looking forward to the experience crafted by Japanese studio From Software. After sharing some details at previous industry events like E3 2015 or Gamescom 2015, the company, alongside publisher Bandai Namco, has revealed even more information at the Tokyo Games Show that's currently happening in the Japanese capital.

The beta is a global one and registration begins soon

First up, the previously confirmed Dark Souls 3 beta, which has the official name Network Stress Test, has been confirmed to take place on a global scale exclusively on the PS4 platform.

Owners of Sony's console who want to try out the game will be able to register for a chance starting tomorrow, September 18, on the official website. The process will kick off at 5pm CEST and lasts until October 4, at 5pm CEST.

The actual testing sessions will be available every day, from October 16 to October 18, between 8pm and 11pm CEST. The beta is designed to evaluate the game server load, the multiplayer mode, as well as the balance, so don't expect a very polished experience. The number of participants will be limited, as Bandai Namco will randomly select from its registered fans.

After getting a March 24 release date for its native Japan, Dark Souls 3 also got a loose April release period for the rest of the world, including territories like North America or Europe. The RPG is coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One at that time.
