After a successful Nintendo Switch launch, publisher XSEED Games announced that Daemon X Machina is making the jump to PC this month. The game is already available for pre-order via Steam with a 20 percent discount off its standard price of $59.99 / €59.99 / £49.99 until the launch week when the discount will drop to just 10 percent between February 13-20.

Daemon X Machina releases on PC on February 13, so mecha games fans have just one week to decide whether or not to purchase the game if they want to benefit from the 20 percent discount. It's also worth mentioning that all those who pre-order the game will receive exclusive bonuses such as an Arsenal mech, character Outer suits, and weapons set.

XSEED Games also announced that a paid DLC which will contain the Prototype Arsenal mech and Prototype Plugsuit outfit will be available for purchase at a later date. Furthermore, the Metallic Equipment Set, containing five unique weapons and the Metallic Plugsuit outfit, will only be available as a part of the pre-order and early-bird purchase promotions and will never be sold separately, XSEED Games mentions in the announcement.

The PC version of Daemon X Machina will include all content updates including new Arsenal gear, cosmetic options, Colossal Immortal battles, and a co-op Exploration Mission mode, but some unspecified licensed DLC will not be available on this platform.

Daemon X Machina is a mecha-based game where players take on the role of a mercenary who commands a huge Arsenal mech that can be customized in the Hangar, the game's main hub. Since we already reviewed the game, we can tell you that the story is taking a back seat to combat and customization options.

Even so, Daemon X Machina is a solid mecha game, so if you're into this genre, you should definitely give this one a try if you didn't play the Switch version, which runs pretty smooth.
