Developer ION LANDS revealed their new game Cloudpunk a while ago and even confirmed last month that in addition to PC, it will bring it to consoles too. Now we've learned that the cyberpunk exploration game will be coming to PC on April 23, so in about six weeks from now.

Although the developers confirmed the game will be launched on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch in 2020, Cloudpunk will not be available on consoles on the same day it launches on PC. Anyway, it looks like Cloudpunk is quite popular among PC gamers, as the game now has more than 95,000 Steam Wishlists, about 10,000 more than last month.

For those who've never heard about Cloudpunk, this is a story-driven cyberpunk game in which players will meet a wide range of characters, including androids, AI and humans at every level of society.

As massive cyberpunk genre fans, we had plenty of chances to make a game about shooting people in a futuristic city. With Cloudpunk we wanted to instead focus on what it’s like to experience a cyberpunk city, to live in there as a struggling delivery driver. At its core, Cloudpunk is about what it takes to make it in a city. Whether that city is New York in the ‘80s, San Francisco today, or some futuristic city a thousand years from now. The richness and character and struggles are familiar to everyone everywhere,” said Marko Dieckmann, studio head of ION LANDS.

In Cloudpunk, you'll be playing a courier driver for a semi-legal delivery company based in the city of Nivalis. The motto of the game is “no delivery job is too dangerous, and no one is faster than a Cloudpunk driver,” so be ready for a shady adventure involving illegal goods and unscrupulous NPCs.
