In an attempt to raise the hype around Stadia, its upcoming game streaming service, Google held a press conference at Gamescom 2019. Well, that's a bit of an overstatement, so let's just say that Google informally revealed new information regarding Stadia.

The most important thing announced is the list of games that will be available at launch and soon thereafter. The list is quite impressive and contains many triple A games like Cyberpunk 2077, Metro Exodus, Baldur's Gate 3, Borderlands 3, Destiny 2, Destiny 2: Shadowkeep, DOOM Eternal, DOOM 2016, Elder Scolls Online, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, Rage 2, Marvel's Avengers, Tom Clancy's The Division 2, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint, and Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

It's unclear when exactly Cyberpunk 2077 will join the service, as Google only lists the game as “coming soon,” so it's probably going to be available after the April 16, 2020 launch.

During the same conference, Orcs Must Die 3 has been revealed as one of Google Stadia's latest exclusives. The game is launching in spring 2020, but it won't remain Stadia exclusive forever, so a release on other platforms is expected later on.

Other games that will be available on Google Stadia immediately after launch or soon after include titles like Kine, Darksiders Genesis, Destroy All Humans, GRID, Farming Simulator '19, Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle, Windjammers 2, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid, Samurai Showdown, Mortal Kombat 11, Just Dance, Trials Rising, The Crew 2, Gylt, Thumper, Final Fantasy XV, Tomb Raider Definitive Edition, Get Packed, and Superhot: Mind Control Delete.

Google Stadia will cost $10 per month and it will be launched in November in 14 countries, including the United States, Canada, the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands and Finland. The service will expand to more countries in 2020.

To make it easier for players to subscribe to the service, Google is selling a Founder's Edition for $130, which includes the Stadia controller, a Chromecast Ultra, and three months of the service for you and a friend. It's also worth mentioning that a cheaper subscription will be available at some point next year.
