14 DAY TRIAL // Some of you folks using CyanogenMod builds know that the company that manages Cyanogen OS did not make all apps available to CM users.
Cyanogen OS comes preloaded on various smartphones like OnePlus One, WileyFox, ZUK Z1, Andromax Q, and multiple YU-branded devices.
This operating system includes a range of apps and services that leverage CyanogenMod's open platform. These applications were not available to CyanogenMod users unless they bought or already owned one of the smartphones mentioned earlier.
The good news is that beginning today all these apps have been grouped in a Cyanogen Apps Package (C-Apps) and made available to everyone running CyanogenMod on their smartphones.
Keep in mind, though, that C-Apps will be available as an optional download, so they will not be preloaded on any CyanogenMod build. If you want to take advantage of any of the apps included in the package, then you will have to download them manually.

It's also worth mentioning that in order to install C-App, you will need to run CyanogenMod 12.1, as any previous version won't be compatible.
According to developers, the following features are included in the initial C-Apps Package: Theme Chooser with per-app theming, Theme Store, AudioFX, Cyanogen Accounts, Gallery, Dialer with TrueCaller integration, and Email powered by Boxer.
Although there aren't too many apps included in this package, we shouldn't rule out the possibility of Cyanogen adding more in the coming months.
To take advantage of some extra features, you will also need to create a Cyanogen Account. This will give you access to the Theme Store, as well as the ability to locate your device, remote lock and remote wipe it.
Also, with a Cyanogen Account you will be able to enable the TrueCaller functionality. For more details on how to download and install CyanogenMod C-Apps, make sure to visit the official webpage.
