14 DAY TRIAL // Curse of the Dead Gods is an action-adventure roguelike where players seek untold riches, eternal life, and divine powers. It sounds like an adaptation of Indiana Jones, but while the premise might fit the comparison, just about everything else is different.
Published by Focus Home Interactive and developed by Passtech Games, Curse of the Dead Gods won't be ready for primetime anytime soon, but those who want to try out the game before it's launched will be able to do so starting next month.
Focus Home Interactive announced Curse of the Dead Gods will release in Early Access on Steam on March 3. Not all content will be available during early access, but you'll be able to get an idea of whether or not it's worth your time.
“At the start of the EA, players will have access to what can be considered as about a third of the final content in production. However, since each game is different with a large share of randomness, there is a lot to discover in this first segment,” said Sylvain Passot, CEO at Passtech Games.
There's not much you can do in Curse of the Dead Gods aside from delving deeper in the accursed temple that promises riches beyond measure and unthinkable powers. You'll be collecting mystical relics and an arsenal of weapons to help you face monsters and malignant deities.
“Curse of the Dead Gods is a project close to our hearts, with many opportunities and possibilities for development. We would like to gather feedback and opinions from the community on the best route to take. Curse of the Dead Gods is a modular game with great replayability, and we believe that Early Access will make the most of it,” added Passot.
