We’ve known for a while Samsung’s Galaxy S21 was supposed to launch earlier than usual, and now we finally have a confirmation in this regard.

A report from AA and citing Samsung’s largest mobile experience store in India, the Galaxy S21 will launch on January 14, while the actual sales of the device would go live on January 29.

By the looks of things, the local Samsung store has already started receiving pre-orders for the device, though they’re more like reservations for the upcoming model, as customers just need to pay $27 for the smartphone. In exchange for this small fee, Samsung will send full information to customers via WhatsApp, including Galaxy S21 availability.

Exynos and Snapdragon versions confirmed

In India, the Galaxy S21 will be powered by the Exynos 2100, and as we reported earlier this week, this device will also come with the Snapdragon 888 in other markets.

This is actually the confirmation the S21 will once again be offered in two different CPU versions, so the Snapdragon will be sold in the United States and South Korea, while the Exynos will be offered in international markets.

The Galaxy S21 will available in gray, pink, purple, and white, while the Plus will only be offered in pink, purple, silver, and black. The S21 Ultra, which will be the top-of-the-line model, will only hit the shelves in black and silver.

The S21 Ultra will boast a 108MP camera on the back, as well as two 10MP sensors, one with 10x optical zoom.

More information on the Galaxy S21 is projected to be shared in the coming weeks, especially since we’re some one month away from the official launch, with Samsung expected to confirm the even in early January.
