Similar with Sony’s Wena smartwatch that combines analog watch properties with fitness tracking tech, Runtastic brings a very similar design, allowing customers to use a beautiful wrist watch analog design in tandem with all the data gathering capabilities of a modern smartwatch.

If you want a device that can track your steps, sleep patterns and calories burnt without wearing a bracelet like Fitbit, and you also don’t want a full-fledged smartwatch, there is a growing offer of fitness-trackers that look like classic watches and cost about as half as most smartwatches out these.

In this category, Sony’ Wena Wrist and Withings elegant Activité and Activité Pop offer competitive and efficient devices that work excellently as fitness trackers while having that simple and reliable analog watch design. Not to stay behind this watch evolution, Runtastic has launched one of the most affordable watch/fitness trackers yet.

Looking like any other analog wristwatch with a sporty twist, the Runtastic Moment series can track your fitness stats, and sync your data with a smartphone or PC via its own Runtastic app installed on your smartphone.

Hybrid smartwatches offer affordability, elegance and data tracking in one package

The new Runtastic series come in four models, the entry-level Runtastic Moment Basic and Fun with silicon straps and simple watch faces, and the more luxurious Runtastic Moment Classic and Elite have sleeker lines and lugs with removable leather straps.

Each new model is waterproof up to 300 feet, has LED notification lights and can track of steps, distance, active minutes and estimated burned calories. The new watches can also vibrate to remind users to move around in case they remained idle too long. Battery-wise, the new watches feature a lithium battery that can last for up to six months and can be easily changed.

Similar to Withings watches, the local time is always set automatically, users not having to change their daylight saving time or time zone changes when travelling.

The Runtastic Moment sells for $129 (115) and up, while Runtastic Moment Classic and Elite will sell for about $179 (160).
